Refund Policy

Welcome to Xitem.pk, a product operated by Cyphersol Technologies (Private) Limited. This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, subscription payments, sponsored promotions, inspection-related payments, and payment disputes are handled on our platform.

By using Xitem.pk, creating an account, purchasing a vendor subscription, buying a sponsored promotion, submitting an inspection request, or making a payment through an official Xitem.pk payment flow, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Marketplace and Vehicle Transactions

Xitem.pk is an online vehicle marketplace that connects buyers with sellers, vendors, and showrooms. We are not the owner, seller, buyer, importer, manufacturer, or agent of vehicles listed by third-party users unless clearly stated otherwise.

Payments for vehicle purchases, token money, advance payments, ownership transfers, delivery arrangements, repairs, warranties, or any transaction between buyers and sellers/vendors are handled directly between those parties.

Xitem.pk does not process, hold, guarantee, or refund payments made directly between buyers and sellers/vendors unless an official Xitem.pk payment service clearly states otherwise.

2. Vendor Subscription Payments

Vendors may purchase paid subscription plans to access premium features such as higher listing limits, showroom visibility, website pages, analytics, promotions, badges, custom domain support, and other business tools.

Subscription payments may be processed through Paddle or another supported payment provider. Xitem.pk does not store full card details on its servers.

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once the paid subscription period has started, except where required by applicable law or where there is a verified billing or technical issue.

3. Refund Eligibility for Subscriptions

A refund may be considered in the following situations:

  • Duplicate payment was charged for the same subscription because of a verified system error
  • An incorrect billing amount was charged because of a verified payment issue
  • A payment was collected after confirmed cancellation because of a technical error
  • A paid feature remained unavailable for a significant period because of a verified Xitem.pk technical issue

Each refund request is reviewed individually. Xitem.pk may ask for payment details, transaction references, screenshots, or other information before making a decision.

4. Subscription Cancellations

Vendors may cancel their subscription through available billing or account settings. Cancellation normally prevents future renewals but does not automatically create a refund for the current paid billing period.

After cancellation, the vendor may continue using paid features until the end of the current billing period unless the account is restricted, suspended, or terminated for a policy violation.

If a subscription expires, fails, or is cancelled, premium features may be restricted and the vendor may move to the applicable free/basic plan. Saved listings, website content, domain records, and other vendor data are not normally deleted only because a subscription has ended.

5. Free Trials

Xitem.pk may offer free trials for selected vendor plans. Trial duration, eligibility, and included features may vary depending on the available plan.

A free trial does not create a refund entitlement because no payment is collected for the trial period unless clearly stated otherwise.

When a trial ends, the vendor may be moved to a basic/free plan or may need to purchase a paid plan to continue using premium features.

6. Sponsored Promotions and Paid Advertisements

Sellers and vendors may purchase sponsored promotions, featured placements, homepage placements, category placements, boosted ads, or other paid visibility services for eligible active listings.

Sponsored promotions are generally time-based. Once payment is confirmed and the promotion becomes active, the payment is normally non-refundable.

A refund or account credit may be considered where:

  • The same promotion was charged more than once by mistake
  • The promotion was not activated because of a verified Xitem.pk technical issue
  • The paid placement could not be delivered because of a confirmed platform-side error
  • Xitem.pk removes an active promotion without a policy-related reason

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not available in the following situations:

  • You did not use a subscription, promotion, or paid feature after purchase
  • You forgot to cancel before renewal
  • You no longer need the subscription, promotion, or service
  • You are dissatisfied with listing views, inquiries, messages, leads, calls, or sales results
  • A listing is sold, removed, hidden, expired, paused, or deactivated during an active promotion
  • Your listing, promotion, or account is restricted because it violates Xitem.pk policies
  • Your account is involved in fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, or misleading activity

8. Inspection Requests and Related Payments

Xitem.pk may provide or facilitate vehicle inspection requests. Any applicable inspection charges, cancellation conditions, rescheduling options, and refund eligibility will be shown during the booking or payment process where applicable.

If an inspection cannot be completed because of a verified Xitem.pk-side issue, we may offer a reschedule, account credit, or refund where appropriate.

Refunds may not be available where the customer provides incorrect vehicle details, does not make the vehicle available, does not respond to scheduling attempts, cancels after service arrangements are made, or provides an inaccessible location.

9. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, contact Xitem.pk support as soon as possible after identifying the payment issue.

Please include:

  • Your full name
  • Registered email address or phone number
  • Payment date and amount
  • Payment transaction ID, invoice number, or payment reference
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Relevant screenshots or supporting evidence where available

10. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will normally be returned through the original payment method where possible.

Refund processing time may depend on Paddle, the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, mobile wallet, or another payment provider. Xitem.pk cannot guarantee the exact processing time required by third-party providers.

Payment gateway charges, bank charges, currency conversion charges, taxes, or third-party transaction fees may not be refundable where permitted by applicable law.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before filing a chargeback, bank dispute, or payment complaint, users are encouraged to contact Xitem.pk support so that the issue can be reviewed and resolved where possible.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is raised, Xitem.pk may temporarily restrict the related account, subscription, promotion, or paid services while the matter is investigated.

Fraudulent, abusive, or unjustified chargebacks may result in account restriction, listing removal, service suspension, or permanent account termination.

12. Changes to This Refund Policy

Xitem.pk may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of Xitem.pk after changes are published means that you accept the updated Refund Policy.
